My husband gave it to me...I love my little camera. My husband gave it to me as a gift a few years ago so that I could take better pictures when we went to museums. The camera goes “through” the glass so you get clean images and no glare when you take a picture. I have also taken some great images of the stained glass at the Philadelphia Art Museum with it (because the glass is two stories up and fills very large windows.
